On [December 15, 2017], the team at Distron Corporation manufactured, tested, and delivered Lumenpulse's one millionth LED lighting product, which is cause for celebration for a couple reasons.
First, it's proof positive that LED lighting continues to be the future of powerful, sustainable, and environmentally friendly lighting. But it also says something important about the state of modern manufacturing: that electronic products designed and manufactured in North America can easily support the next-level of innovation and efficiency that wins awards, spurs growth, and makes a difference for the environment (all while maintaining a healthy bottom line).
Recently, Distron Corporation hosted the Lumenpulse Engineering team to commemorate the occasion with lunch, (appropriately designed) cake, and remarks from both the management team at Distron and Lumenpulse CTO Greg Campbell - one of the original engineers behind Lumenpulse's first generation of LED lighting products.
As a company, Distron thanks Greg and the Lumenpulse team for the opportunity to celebrate 8 years of incredible business, and for allowing Distron to reach the milestone of 1 million LED lighting products built and shipped. To this day, the spirit of innovation at Lumenpulse continues to impress and inspire, and we look forward to continuing our long and successful partnership.
Lumenpulse was founded in 2006, with strong roots in industrial design and a level of electronics know-how that would empower the company to innovate on a higher level than its industry rivals. With products sustainably illuminating locations ranging from Soldier Field in Chicago to The Shard in London - Lumenpulse's brand of innovation proves the viability, flexibility, and power of LED products designed in North America and utilized around the world.
